Chime Choir started in 1984 as a choir for girls and young adults, as well as boys. Forty years later, we are a diverse group with singers from many backgrounds and experiences, dedicated to performing heartfelt choral music that challenges and delights. We're based in Melbourne and perform regularly across the city, with tours throughout Victoria, Australia and internationally.

Melbourne's Chime Choir award winners at World Choir Games
Chime Choir has returned home from Auckland after its successful World Choir Games campaign, securing Gold in the Open Mixed Chamber Choirs and Silver in the Open Sacred Choral Music with Accompaniment categories. To everyone's delight, Chime placed overall second in the Mixed Chamber Choirs category, missing the top score by .31 - the only Australian choir to achieve this ranking in the Open chamber choirs category, cementing the choir’s reputation for excellence in performance, and ensuring that Chime is able to return to the next World Choir Games as champion competitors. Thank you for your support as we toured to New Zealand - the Games were incredible and we can't wait for the next competition!
