Life is marked by SEASONS. For all time, artists across the globe have tried to capture these SEASONS in music. Through harmony, melody and lyrics, music has a way of capturing the human heart and experience and helps us to process, understand and to find reason in life’s SEASONS.
Chime Choir is an ensemble made up of individuals, each of whom are living through varying SEASONS of life, and this project is a collection of music that speaks to us. Whether in a SEASON of Joy or Sorrow, Expectation or Disappointment, Marriage or Separation, Life or Death, each of us finds identity and comfort in the sentiment of these contemporary choral compositions. We love singing and sharing in that special connection which transpires between performer and listener, and we count it an honour to bring to life the compositions of these modern-day choral masters. Everything you hear is 100% live – no added bits or overdubs – and recorded in one take. We simply gathered in a space, sang with all our hearts and captured our sound on this project.
