Vacant Positions
Expressions of interest are invited for the following paid staff positions:
- Artistic Director - position description
- Chief Executive Officer
- Tenor Section Lead
- Bass Section Lead
- Soprano Section Lead
- Alto Section Lead
These positions will commence immediately a successful applicant has been appointed. The appointments will be for an initial period of one semester, during which time an assessment will take place with a view to on-going leadership.
Expectations
The Section Lead will:
- be a trained singer and experienced chorister with strong reading skills
- attend all rehearsals
- sing in the choir
- assist the respective section with learning their parts
Responsibilities
The Section Lead will:
- liaise regularly with the Choir Leader, Artistic Director and Assistant Artistic Director
- lead by example - in best choral practice, rehearsal etiquette, best vocal technique and take responsibility for learning their part
- organise and conduct separate sectional rehearsals if required
- encourage all choristers
- welcome new section choristers
- maintain the section attendance roll
