Past Concerts

CHIME has a reputation for the volume of material the choristers learn and the high standard of their performances. Historically, the choir conducts its own concert twice annually. The mid-year concert is often themed, with the Christmas Concert being a more traditional, family-orientated concert. The following is indicative of the breadth of material performed.

Australian Premiere: Karl Jenkins' Stabat Mater 2010

This contemporary setting of Stabat Mater is an unusual mix of traditional Latin with Hebrew and Aramaic and with emotive musical arrangements reflecting this mix.
Performed on August 22nd 2010 Christ Church, South Yarra.
