Coral has played the piano for most of her life. Academically she completed her Bachelor of Music and Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Educational Studies at Monash University. At present Coral is pursuing further tertiary studies at Melbourne in her 'spare time'.

Since her school days, she has developed an intense enthusiasm for choral accompanying, enjoying the challenge of supporting choirs and forming an artistic collaboration with choral conductors. She has toured interstate as Accompanist with the Berwick Youth Choir, overseas with the National Boys Choir and locally with the Da Capo Singers. Coral has been fortunate enough to accompany the Choral Institute Melbourne (CHIME Choir) to Switzerland, Austria and Germany during her long and happy association with the choir.

Coral is currently in her eleventh year as Deputy Director of Music at Haileybury, running the Music department at the 'Edrington' precinct in Berwick. This position involves teaching students from age 3 to 14 years, organizing the instrumental and choral program and providing numerous performances throughout the year.
