We are a non-profit and non-denominational organisation fostering the love of music in our community.

We are an umbrella organisation supporting a number of choirs and covering a broad variety of choral styles. We are recognised as one of Melbourne's premiere choirs with numerous successes in local competitions.

Having conducted international tours every three to four years, the Choral Institute has also acquired international recognition. Since the mid-1980's we have toured to North America, Hong Kong, Japan, and Europe. We have participated the the 1st and 3rd Choir Olympics, and toured Italy in 2008.
